Ken became an attorney after spending more than a decade in uniform. After graduating from the United States Naval Academy in 2001, Ken spent about nine years on active duty in the United States Navy, first obtaining his “wings” as a naval aviator, though it was the helicopter pilot kind, and later as an instructor.
Ken's time in the Navy reinforced his commitment to doing things well and doing them ethically. His desire to provide ethical service and representation to his clients is directly influenced by his experience at Annapolis and in the "fleet."
Not ready to retire at age 30, Ken chose to enter a new career at the end of his naval service and attended the University of Texas School of Law. Shortly before graduating, Ken relocated to Nacogdoches with his family. Having grown up in small towns, Ken and his wife, Hannah Grubb Deppisch, were committed to providing their children with a small-town experience where they could grow up close to their grandparents and great-grandparents.
After becoming licensed in 2013, Ken spent several years as an associate attorney in a noted local firm. In 2017, Ken established Deppisch Law Firm. In 2024, Ken combined Deppisch Law Firm with LoStracco Law Firm to create LOSTRACCO DEPPISCH PLLC.
Since arriving in Nacogdoches, Ken has been actively involved in the community, serving on the board of the Nacogdoches Rotary Club and the Nacogdoches Rotary Club Foundation, as commissioner on the Planning and Zoning Commission, as a Director of the Nacogdoches Chamber of Commerce, and as a past President of the Nacogdoches Bar Association. Ken is currently the Blue and Gold Officer for Area 319, serving as a liaison for the admissions department of the United States Naval Academy for high school students in Deep East Texas.
